Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital

Crucially, Israeli forces are maintaining a siege of the hospital, blocking entry for specialized medical staff and ambulances, deliberately escalating the crisis.

Director of Nursing, Dr. Eid Sabbah:
“It is important for delegations to reach the north, especially to Kamal Adwan Hospital. However, the most crucial factor is the entry of specialized medical and surgical staff to operate the hospital and save lives, not just to evacuate the injured. Unfortunately, for every injured person evacuated, ten enter the hospital.”
The administrators at Kamal Adwan Hospital are pleading that the medical delegation of nine doctors, who have already arrived in Gaza City, be allowed to enter the hospital.

- 2 General Surgeons
- 1 Orthopedic Surgeon
- 1 Thoracic Surgeon
